Attorney Kerry Gorgone (aka “The Lawminatrix”) graduated first in her class from Suffolk University Law School in 2000 and clerked for the New Hampshire Superior Court for two years. After becoming a litigator for a large firm, she switched gears and practiced real estate and probate law at a small firm in Massachusetts. In 2004, she took a job at Bentley University in Waltham, where she taught the freshman law course “Legal Environment of Business” as well as “Marketing Law for the Cyberage,” a survey course for upperclassmen which covered intellectual property, antitrust, First Amendment / commercial speech and other legal principles relating to the marketing of goods and services.

Kerry also has a creative streak, and has acted in a number of short films and theater productions, including musicals.

In October 2008, she relocated to the Orlando area, where she teaches Intellectual Property at an area university.
